On Saturday, October 4, 2014, Mercury Retrograde begins in emotional, intense, “dig deeper” Scorpio. It may affect any investigations, secrets, mysteries you’ve been working on or cause communication gadget interruptions, etc. Make sure any data, information, details researched and uncovered are correct. Double check your sources while you back up the devices that you use to search and / or store. Being cautious can avoid any confusion, miscommunication, misunderstandings. Mercury’s backward motion begins in the passionate 8th sign of the Zodiac, but will back up into relationship focused Libra on 10/10/14 until it stops and goes Direct again on 10/25/14. Don’t be surprised if people, places, events of the past return to haunt, bite or even please us. Watch what you write, be careful of what you say in order to lessen the possibility of negative impact as you interact with others.
“Retrograde” is the perfect time for “re” actions, such as, re invent, re write, re reread, revisit, renew. Use the next 3 weeks to take another look at past decisions or old projects that may have been dropped and forgotten. Does an idea deserve another chance, another go round? Was anything missed? Are there any monetary, financial accounting mishaps? When Mercury goes Direct on October 25, things will gradually become clearer as the planet picks up speed. You’ll be able to go forward with anything you may have discovered. If you can, wait a few days after Mercury’s forward motion before signing contracts or agreements.
Good news! This is the 3rd and final Retrograde Mercury of 2014! (next 1/21/15 – 2/11/15)
BTW: Mercury just “appears” to go backwards. Planets only move forward, however, due to the earth’s changing speed as it orbits around the Sun, the positions are such that it looks like a reverse motion from earth.

Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, 2014, the Moon will be in Venus ruled Libra. It’s an artistic, relationship focused, charming Air sign fostering harmony with others and harmony for the home. We are moved toward good feelings, people activities, beauty and creativity. Smile and enjoy it.
Have a beautiful weekend!
Overnight, April 14/15, 2014, a beautiful copper colored, Full Moon will be viewable in some parts of the world. Since it occurs in Venus ruled, Air sign Libra, we will be inclined toward cooperation with our partners – searching for balance, fairness and calm. All of that, while being super social, beautifying both ourselves and our surroundings at the same time. If it helps us tune out / tone down any negative, angry voices out there (or in our heads), terrific.
As I’ve mentioned in this space before, a ”Full” Moon phase packs power and can give our thoughts clarity. It starts the “waning” or decreasing, of the Lunar orb, a good time to gather results or confront the useless – clean up old projects, get rid of outmoded thought patterns and attitudes in order to clear the way for the next “New” Moon in 2 weeks.
Take the opportunity on Friday and Saturday to use the Virgo Moon to get all practical, responsible and stuff. As the steady, efficient Mercury ruled 6th sign of the Zodiac, Virgo reminds us of the importance of health, nutrition and service – it will lend itself to a guilt free “what’s next” – the very social Libra.
Very early on Sunday April 13, 2014, the Moon moves into relationship focused Libra and remains there until Monday’ . We can network. We can initiate sparkling conversations. We can schmooze. Ruled by lovely Venus, Libra really appreciates comfort in both surroundings and partnerships. You can fill the balance of the weekend with silk and cashmere quality events if you want – people, pretty things. Sounds good to me.
Have a sensible yet delicious weekend!
Take the opportunity on Friday and Saturday and use the Virgo Moon to get all practical, responsible, “detailish” and stuff. It may sound a little flat and unexciting but it doesn’t have to be. Think of it as preparation for the early morning arrival of the Libra Moon on Sunday July 14, 2013. We can lose a bit of the pragmatism and reward ourselves with lots of charming conversation, partnership cooperation and sparkling social interactions– maybe a party?
If you heed the call of the responsible, efficient Earth sign Virgo reminding us of the importance of health, nutrition, work and take care of your chores – it could lead to a guilt free end of the weekend. Air sign Libra, ruled by Venus, is about good food, pretty things and lovely people. Not bad. Socialize.

Saturday evening, the Moon will move into serious, secretive, stubborn Scorpio. This Water sign will have us “feel” things. Emotions can be dramatic and intense. No patience for the superficial – “real” conversations, one-on-one connections are demanded, drilling down to reveal the hidden is not unusual. (Going deep has its advantages.)
We can be flexible, go with the flow – we can have a great weekend!
Another New Moon phase happens early on Monday October 15, 2012. This month, the Lunar orb is “New” in Air sign Libra. When the Sun and the Moon are in the same sign, there is support for innovation, fresh starts, a great time for beginnings.
Libra’s social traits are intensified and “New” can mean new friends, relationships, partners, contracts, ideas.Find a new BFF, risk a blind date, speed network during a business card exchange party? Pick one. Regardless of what you choose, there will be interaction – it’s up to you just how much charm and cooperation will be spread around. This dynamic energy lasts about 10 days and as the Moon transits the other signs, different areas of life will be primed for a “start-up”. Go for it!
FYI – Sun has been in Libra, 7th sign of the Zodiac, since 9/22/12.
On Friday October 12, 2012, the Moon will be finishing up its stay in the industrious work and “pay attention to the details” Earth sign of Virgo (great way to finish up all the odds and ends of the week).

Ruled by lovely Venus, Airy Libra really appreciates comfort in both surroundings and partnerships. Have a smooth weekend!
All day Saturday and Sunday will be about Fiery Aries Moon energy. The Lunar orb will also be “Full”, which adds extra potency. The vibe should be perfect for any “David & Goliath”-like challenges you may have to deal with this weekend. Focus your physical, aggressive urges, strategize and think before you act (rash, over the top impulses can lead to embarrassment?). Warrior planet Mars rules spark plug Aries and it’s “In your face” tendencies can mean direct, honest, competitive rather than just loud and angry. The influence of the Harvest Moon transit thru this sign can make our weekend fast paced and exciting. Take advantage.
The Moon is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been ignoring for the past few weeks. Once you clear out what has been hanging around, you will create space for the “New” – ideas, things, spaces. (The next New Moon will be 10/15/12 – in Air sign Libra.)
FYI – Harvest Moon 9/29/12, 11:19PM Eastern / 8:19PM Pacific. The first Full Moon after the Fall Equinox is always labeled a “Harvest Moon” (The Equinox occurred on September 22, when the Sun moved into Libra)
*During a “Full” phase, the luminaries are exactly opposite each other. The Aries Moon is fully lit by the Libra Sun. (Beautiful, dramatic, nothing to fear.)
